Hello Kathy, Thank you very much for sharing your comments. Everyone's comments help us to improve the event every year. Our event is strictly run by volunteers and they do get just a very short amount of time to enjoy some of the events at the Fest. BUT I do agree that we need to limit how many volunteers are allowed to go on each tractor. I know that the line for the Hayride can be very long and it can be frustrating when you have to wait longer. This is something that we will change. Starting the hayride earlier in the night is also something that we will keep in mind for next year as well. We like to make sure that everyone has a great time. Thank you again for your comments.

Our whole family look forward to this event every year! It is fun for my youngest to my high schooler. A great event that is a unique event to go to. This year we were a little disappointed though with the haunted hay ride. The volunteers all get passes to go on the hay ride which I get that without their help this event would not occur. But next year perhaps think about limiting the numbers on each tractor. We waited for over an hour in line and once we finally made it to the front of the line had to wait for 3 tractors because as each one pulled up it would fill up with volunteers. In the past the hay rides started almost right away as well which was nice for those that liked a little scare. I have 2 younger ones that really liked to be able to see their surroundings and know in advance what was coming up. I get that the people involved feel like they can't do as much, but it made it more kid friendly... then at night - in the dark - ramp it up.

Oh what fun it is to work at the Children's Haunted House. The children start with wide eyes and a little fear but when they exit they want to go around and start again. Collen made me giggle when she says I make the Children's Haunted House kind of homey. Couldn't have finished with out all those limber bodies going up and down the ladders.
